From the Executive Principal
We had the great joy of celebrating Grandparents Day earlier this week. This much-loved annual tradition is always one of the highlights of our school year, and this year was certainly no exception. We are so grateful to every grandparent who joined us on Monday. Your presence made the morning incredibly special.
It was wonderful to welcome so many grandparents and family friends into our classrooms and school grounds. It is always clear to me that Grandparents Day means so much to our students and our families and it is great to see how proud our students are to show their grandparents around our school, share their work, and introduce them to their teachers and friends.

Grandparents hold such a beautiful and special place in the lives of young people. You are role models, storytellers, cheerleaders, and a teacher of life’s most important lessons. You offer love that is steady and unconditional — and that makes an enormous difference in the lives of children.
Thank you for all the ways you support, encourage, and love your grandchildren and for the wonderful example you set for them each day. And, thank you also for being such an important part of our St Matthew’s family.
God bless
Angela Myles
